Sanitation Operator
Salary: $48,000 - $52,000
As a Sanitation Operator you’ll play a vital role in keeping our processing plant clean, safe, and compliant with strict food safety standards.
This is a hands-on, physically active role that is perfect for people who take pride in keeping workplaces clean and safe, enjoy working as part of a team, and want to start or grow their career in the aquaculture industry.
What you’ll do
Clean and sanitize processing areas, equipment, floors, and surfaces according to company and food safety standards
Ensure compliance with hygiene protocols and regulatory requirements
Support the production team by maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
Monitor and report any hygiene, safety, or maintenance issues to supervisors
Participate in training and follow standard operating procedures for cleaning, sanitation, and chemical handling
Contribute positively to team culture and workplace safety practices
What we’re looking for
No prior experience required
Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high hygiene standards
Ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment
Physically fit and able to work in active, sometimes wet or cold conditions
Basic literacy and numeracy for record-keeping and instructions
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
