FACTORY SUPERVISOR
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
An Aquaculture Factory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of a seafood processing facility, ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
A good supervisor leads by example — keeping quality high, staff motivated, and production running at its best.
What you’ll do
Your key focus areas will include:
Planning, coordinating, and managing daily processing and packing activities to support factory operations.
Leading toolbox meetings to communicate priorities, safety updates, and daily goals.
Allocating tasks and responsibilities across teams to maintain smooth workflow and productivity.
Providing training and development opportunities to build team capability and performance.
Monitoring quality, hygiene, and safety standards to ensure full compliance and consistency.
Supporting and motivating staff, fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
Keeping accurate records and reports on production, staff, and operational outcomes.
What we’re looking for
At least 2 years’ experience in a team leader or supervisory role.
A solid understanding of aquaculture processing and the end-to-end supply chain.
Proven experience overseeing processing, packing, and/or opening teams.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and sales processes.
A good understanding of people management and team development practices.
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Quality Assurance standards – essential for maintaining compliance and high-quality production.
