RAS Production Manager
Salary: $100,000 - $160,000
You’ll take the lead in managing production and feeding strategies, while providing strong day-to-day leadership and support for your team.
Your focus will be on keeping systems running efficiently, ensuring commercial targets are met, and driving continuous improvement across operations.
You’ll also play a key role in developing and refining RAS systems and processes to optimise the commercial production of high-value species.
What you’ll be doing
Oversee and optimise the performance of the RAS system, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to support safe, consistent operations.
Plan and forecast production, keeping growth and quality targets on track.
Identify and plan system improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
Manage feed programs to support healthy, sustainable fish growth.
Lead, support, and mentor staff, helping your team develop their skills and confidence.
You’ll also need to
Maintain rigorous hygiene and biosecurity standards.
Comply with all Health and Safety regulations.
Manage and maintain infrastructure within the allocated budget.
Optimize costs while ensuring operational efficiency.
What we’re looking for
Graduate qualification in aquaculture or equivalent experience
Leadership qualification or proven experience
Experience managing commercial aquaculture operations
Knowledge of national and international standards and regulations for land-based aquaculture systems
Strong understanding of health and safety practices
