Salary: Up to $54,000
Aquaculture yard workers undertake various land-based tasks to support the on-water farming operations, including mussel float production, rope/net sorting and making and equipment maintenance.
Key tasks
Safely loading and unloading stock from boats, trucks or tanks
Operating forklifts, winches or cranes (if qualified)
Cleaning and maintaining equipment, pens, tanks and boats
Assisting with repairs to moorings and other infrastructure
Handling tools, ropes and machinery as required
